The guest lounge area is situated under the North and South guest rooms. Here you can really unwind and relax, watch a DVD from the selection, listen to some music, enjoy flicking thorough the magazines or enjoy watching the flames whilst snuggled up to the gas log fire in winter. Enjoy your afternoon tea here with a slice of homemade cake whilst planning your weekends activities, afternoon bush walk, winery visit, bike ride etc… or a port after dinner. Wireless internet access is available throughout the entire house.
The dining room is in the Western end of the house and has large cedar windows with a beautiful green, leafy outlook in the mornings. Here you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast starting with poached or fresh fruits and cereals, espresso coffee or leaf teas, followed by your choice of the mornings cooked selections or perhaps toast, local jams and marmalades.
Dining room is now the only slow combustion fire in guest areas. We cater for special dietary needs with notice, and can do dinner in house for you if you dont want to go out.
Yallambee offers three guest bedrooms – all ensuite, with various bedding configurations making the property ideal for couples, families, small groups or even multi generational family groups. The bedrooms are appointed with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and trouble free.
For self contained bookings only, guests have use of Yallambee’s well appointed kitchen – everything is here to make dinner for the family or prepare a soiree for your fiends – from bakeware, preparation equipment, serving utensils. and even dry stores (as well as the essential coffee machine!). All you need to bring is your drinks and things for the fridge. And don’t worry, if you forget anything, Bundanoon has a convenience store and bottle shop to fill any gaps!
Yallambee features an acre of terraced gardens and lawns, and guests are welcome to use the range of lawn games (boules, croquet, badminton etc). There is outdoor seating, a gas and kettle BBQ, and a fire pit in the back outdoor area. The property doesn’t have fences (which is great for the comings and goings of the kangaroos in the area) but it means pets can’t stay. There is plenty of off street parking and undercover areas for mountain bikes or motor bike storage if required.
Bundanoon is a beautiful little town, lovely gardens, friendly people and so clean, set on the edge of one of NSW’s biggest National Parks.
Fantastic walks, bike riding and awesome mountain bike riding trails in the area. There is a good range of restaurants and cafes in and around Bundanoon from informal to fine dining, as well as a convenience store, bottleshop, service station and chemist for any last minute requirements.
We are both hospitality professionals and offer as much or as little interaction as you require. We live on site so are here to help out with the little extras that pop up – what to see and do in the area, information and maps on local walking or mountain bike trails, wedding transport, even on occasion a tyre change! It’s the little things that make your life easier…
